Being a butcher truly is an art form and I have a great amount of respect for them. This video, The Pig & The Butcher showcases Vadim Akimenko, of future Akimenko Meats, and his passion of his trade by showing the process and breakdown of a pig. This 211 pound pig was left with only 1 pound of meat at the end that went to waste. I’m not huge fan of pork that much no more and try not to eat it as much, but really, pigs are truly one magical animal. I don’t know any other animal that could be reduced as much as that, maybe a chicken? If your squeamish, I suggest to not watch this video. You can also check out the stills over on flickr
